The Most Underrated Family History Tool: Marco Polo

Sharing some app love!

I use an app called Marco Polo every day. Marco Polo is an app that lets you send video messages back and forth between other users. I have a group for my work friends, my mom friends, my college friends, my high school friends, my family...etc.

The reason I'm bringing it up here is that this app is AMAZING for family history. It's a low-pressure way to interview relatives and you can download the video images and save them to your files.

This is how I used the app to create something very special for my family:

Marco Polo is free but if you upgrade to the Pro version you do get some nice benefits so here's a link that will let you try out the Pro version for a little while. Don't worry, you don't need to put a credit card in or anything - the free trial will expire on its own after a couple of months and you'll automatically go back to the free version.

Have you been using Marco Polo? What do you use it for?
